I am astonished at this thread. In my opinion, the BBC coverage of F1 is top class. Enough time is devoted to it plus the qualifying sessions are shown and then there is the red button after it finishes. The BBC presentation team is a great mix of knowledge and enthusiasm (and also contraversy from Eddie Jordan). Martin Brundle is the pick of the bunch. His knowledge is incredible and he puts it over so well. The BBC coverage has made me even more of a fan of F1

LOL Martin only has about 15 mins to get from the front to the back of the grid, interview as many people as possible and make it as entertaining as he possibly can. One of the reasons I tune in is to see his legendary grid walks as he is the only one who can pull it off cause he knows pretty much everyone on the grid, even the race engineers and team guys.
As for barging in, only he can get away with it because as i mentioned he is the one that everyone knows and respects. This stiff up lip politeness of not saying excuse me and of not giving Britain a good name is a load of red bull as that mentality does not exists in the mayhem of the F1 grid when you only got 15 mins to do your job!! You can see everyone warming towards him when he is frantically searching for the right person to talk to, try getting that from a German or Italian non racing driver and I rest my case. I am sure that Martin Brundle is one of the most polite and decent blokes out there when not in the frying pan of a F1 grid prior to a race!!
The poor boy is getting paranoid that all the other broadcasters having a go at him for doing what he is doing, but Martin should take that as flattery because he is the one that EVERYONE will always want to talk to and give US the viewers something that none of the other broadcasters can offer!!
Live long and Prosper Martin Brundle and keep doing what you are doing SO WELL!

Why bother asking eddie Jordan a question regarding Michael Schumacher?? He is so biased against schumi. Michael will never do anything good in eddies eyes. He is the greatest f1 driver ever, show him some respect eddie!

Hi We have had some early feedback from visitors to our www.bbcf1.com website regarding the BBCF1 commentary and it seems that people are not very impressed. The general opinion is that the old team including Louise are being missed. Maybe we will see an improvement as the season moves forward as this was only their first attempt. Eddie Jordon however is possibly not going to last very long if he continues to argue with the much loved D.C. The Eddie Jordan / DC arguments are intentional, they are there to be contentious and grumpy with each other. But can the BBC please get rid of David Croft. What an inane giggly twerp.
