Hi All Well Honda have now become Brawn GP. I must admit I am very happy to see Jenson and Rubens with a drive for 2009 as I was starting to think the unthinkable and that was Jenson was not going to be apart of this season!! I hope to see their car perform well and achieve what Honda thought was possible. We wish the whole team luck for 2009. From BBCF1.COM

We agree, what a brilliant start to the F1 season. I am sure the powers that be will see sense and rule in favour of Brawn GP . Jenson, Rubens and the whole team did well after all of the problems they had over the winter and pull off what will go down in history as one of the greatest starts of an F1 season for a new team. Long may it continue. We all wish the Brawn GP team luck for the rest of the season. ;D

Yes a good race and "Hamo" kept hammering away with a good result. Race will even get better when McClaren get going. Reason for blog-can anyone explain the 8 engine rule. i.e. on a hypothetical question if Hamilton had now 7 new engines if they broke down and were swapped in the next 7 races would that mean he would be out of F1 for the rest of the season?

Well the engines are the same 2.4L V8s that have been used before but they will be tuned down to 18,000 RPM to hopefully prolong engine life. Apparently each team will be limited to eight engines per season, per driver, plus an additional four for team testing purposes, a total of 20 engines per team. Should save 50% on engine costs over 2008 prices. So I am guessing that afterthe 8 engines....you are automatically disqualified

Let us hope then that everyone's engines are reliable otherwise it will be a very short season of F1!!?? If my old Renault engine has anything to go by it could be goodbye Renault.
